We are a small Sea Angling club based in the �Five Towns� area of Wakefield in West Yorkshire dedicated to promoting Sea Fishing from the shore and from charter boats in a relaxed non-competitive atmosphere. The boat fishing will be from Charter boats not only at the local ports - Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington, etc, but also further afield - Kent, Plymouth, etc. You might wonder how we get to the venues, the simple answer is that we either use our own transport and share the expense, or book a mini-bus. For those who, for one reason or another don't have transport, they are included and arrangements can made for them to be collected from pick-up point's en-route. We will hold a meeting once a month - probably in Pontefract Or Knottingley, where trips will be planned and money for the trips collected. There will be no annual membership charge - however, once you have booked for any boat trip, any monies paid as a deposit unfortunately won�t be returnable for any cancellation made by yourself - at the end of the day, the skippers will still want paying. |
