Interview with Sully, Mikey B, and John from Southcott
518:Could you say your name and what you do in the band?
SC:Sully-guitar n vocals; Mikey B-guitar n vocals; and John-drums..the kid who plays bass and sings got his head stuck in a doorway and isnt here
518:How did Southcott come together?
SC:Southcott was originally the combining of two band, Dinnermintcommando and Envy Of Your Friends then i (mike sully) joined the band last july and the rest is pretty much history
518:What makes Southcott stand out compared to other bands?
SC:Hmmmmmmm...i dunno really we like to think we've developed our own sound, especially with our new stuff more than anything and we try so hard at shows, i drum solo every night, we all sing our asses off in hopes to just make a few kids happy
518:Do you have a favorite venue or venue(s) you like to play in?
SC:The Playhouse, rip, in nyack ny, its getting turned into a restaurant.
518:Is 518 Music the best online music site ever?
SC:I'd have to say yes, however absolutpunk and hvscene are clsoe seconds.. but you take the cake bro
518:What is the coolest band you have played with and do you have any crazy stories from touring?
SC:Coolest band to play with is nextIInothing...one time in lowell massechusetts i saw some guy eating like a pound of mushrooms out of a ziplock bag
518:What's in your CD player right now?
SC:the new blink, in reverie, stevie ray vaugh-greatest of, beatles rubber soul
518:What are your plans for the next few months?
SC:tourin tourin tourin, we have a video shoot comin up for our song Red Lights And Rooftops...we have a record release show April 9th at Club Crannel for our new ep "By Valour And Arms"..and then i think we're tourin more haha
