518 Music was started in early 2003 with the understanding of bringing quality interviews and reviews about the independent music scene. It started off just bringing underground artists out of the depths of the music industry to the eyes of people that love good music. Slowly more and more people recognized 518 Music as a credible source for press and interviews. As time went on 518 started getting bigger, interviewing up and coming artists such as Limbeck, Steel Train, Halifax and The Rocket Summer. With this came more work and a higher demand for press, as well as a new website to handle this increased exposure. Now 518 is back with a new website and even better layout including show reviews, album reviews, band of the month, contests and of course more interviews. 518 Music is ready to break out once again onto the music scene letting people know that there is a new independent music source and 518 Music is it!
