Interview with Scott and Bobby from Big City Dreams

518:Could you say your name and what you do in the band?
BCD:I'm Bobby and I play guitar and Scott's also here and he plays bass

518:How did Big City Dreams come together?
BCD:Well it started off with myself and our singer mark doing it as a side project, and than we basically decided it would be cool to make it a full band and it's gone from there

518:Where did the name come from?
BCD:Nothing really special behind the name, it summed up how we felt in relation to where we wanted to go as a band

518:Which song off your upcoming EP best describes the band as a whole?
BCD:Well I don't think our sound can be captured by just one song, but if we HAD to pick one, it would be "I Wish There Were 5 Seasons"

518:How does the writing process go down for you guys?
BCD:Well it all starts out with a couple of ideas passed around between our singer Mark and I, but than we bring it together as a whole band and tweak the hell out of it

518:Do you have a favorite venue or venue(s) you like to play in?
BCD:Well we're gonna be out on tour all summer, and as of right now we don't have a "favorite", but we hope when we go out on tour that some venue will wow us

518: Do you think that Florida is going to be a place in the coming years that produces the up and coming bands?
BCD:Well in our opinion, Florida has always been strong with getting good bands out of here. I think it really doesn't get the respect it deserves. Less than Jake, Hot Water Music, Further Seems Forever, Poison the Well, New Found Glory, and all sorts of bands have come out of here.

518:what's in your CD player right now
BCD:Well since today is St. Patty's day, we're listening to Flogging Molly, but right now Mae, The Bled, Copeland, Head Automatica, and Salem

518:What made you get into music?
BCD:We all love music, and through all of our different tastes, comes our sound

518:What are your plans for the next few months?
BCD:Releasing our EP and tour, tour, tour

518:That's all the questions I have I wanna thank Bobby and Scott from Big City Dreams for doing this interview is there anything else you would like to say?
BCD:Just want to say thanks for this opportunity, and sorry our singer Mark and drummer Matt couldn't be here. And also, to go check out our purevolume page to hear a couple of tracks from the upcoming EP. http://www.purevolume.com/bigcitydreams
