Interview with Christian from Bedlight For Blue Eyes
518:Could you just say your name and what you do in the band?
BL: My name's Christian, I'm BEDlight's Frontman, Christian Andre Guerrero
518:How did BEDlight come together as you are today?
BL: BEDlight was born from the demise or previous projects: a hero for nothing, sever the stars, red with her name, and goathead we all live like 5 min from each other and one day i saw that these 3 mates were looking for singer that lived up the road i went down, sang for half a second, and they all say you're in, haha
518: now you recently got signed to Trustkill Records out of your home state of New Jeresy how did that come together?
BL:After that we decided this would be our singular mission, we let it completelydominate our lives for the nexts 8 monthsafter not sleeping in all that time busting our ass to promote online and off, going to shows, making friends, always acting professional, kept us in front of the pack. Before we knew it we were a buzz band, and shortly after that we had a slew of major and minor labels after our shiut so we took our time after working so fucking hard and being that fucking hungry, you don't jump at the first offer we let them keep coming in and thanks to our patience, we can say that we have the best possible deal with the greatest of indy labels
518:Yeah i mean that is alot of band's first mistake not seeing the whole field and taking the first bite
BL: i totally agree in a non arrogant way, it is very important to understand exactly what you are capable of offering and stick to your guns always. so after some bartering and negotiations we became part of a very prestigious family. TK (Trustkill)
518:Now are you heading into the studio soon to record a full length?
BL:Right right we head into nada studios in march we record for 3 weeks those guys fucking rule
518:You seem to have had good results the first time around
BL:Johnny naclerio takes care of you man he has an amazing talent for making great music, and he's the god of all engineers
518:Now are all the songs on your self titled demo gonna be on the full length?
BL:All the songs will be on the full length,retooled,galvinized and ready for destruction. We're so stoked for this album it will redefine many things i think that's all i can say for now
518: Turning to your musical tastes who have you been listeing to in your cd player/ipod
BL:I wish I could afford an Ipod, fucking 300 beans for the 40 gig, yowza
518: haha yeah man
BL:Definately not sweet tits, haha. We listen to a lot of different shit right now i'm listening to the new hopesfall cd those cats came a long way, its tits supreme. I also listen to a lot of weird shitscissor sisters, it dies today, joe cocker, led zep, rubber soul, dino velvet all over the mark
518: What got you into music and the whole scence?
BL:I've always been singing when i was a kid i would imitate my idols: bono from u2, steve perry from journey, layne staley from alice in chains, boys 2 men, joe cocker, chris cornell, the list goes on and on and on
518:Now going on from this you proboly have one of the most amazing voices in your genre and won best vocals on AP.net's Best and Worst of 2004

518:Could you give any tips or thoughts for kids trying to sing for there band and getting to that next step?
BL:I am very happy and very humbled by all the great things happening to us its all the fans without them we are nothing. My best advice is to be persistant and to be hungry talent, luck, money is irrelavent the credit goes to the man in the arena.. whose face is marred with sweat and dust and blood
518:Very very true
BL:That's a partial quote from theodoore roosevelt the full quote is one of the most inspiring things i have ever read
518:What are your plans as a band for the next few months and when can we expect to see you on the road?
BL:Well, in march we record in spring we release and we expect to begin a national onslaught as soon as we get out of the studio. We have a tour coming up with roses are red and a thorn for every heart and we go out with static as soon as they finish up taste of chaos
518: when can we expect dates for the roses are red tour?
BL:I love roses are red they are some of the nicest cats ever...Not sure but very soon
