FiveHead's HT
with Bradley R. Wolf, MD
Donor-area Pics!
6-month update!
My website skills are a little limited, but I wanted to be able to share with you some of the story behind my HT on March 14, 2003 with Bradley R. Wolf, MD in Cincinnati. Background: I am 31, and have been gradually thinning for the past 6 years or so. I wanted to get an HT before anyone would be able to detect that I had anything done. During this session, I received 1060 all follicular unit grafts. Dr. Wolf utilized the lateral slit technique to gain a density of roughly 30 FU per square centimeter.
You call that a forehead?! That's a FiveHead!
Too much shining scalp showing up front!

my HT
I had the unique opportunity to have my HT WebCast live from Dr. Wolf's office. I had a computer on my lap during the procedure and was able to interact and chat with several of my fellow forum-mates from the HT Network and Hair Loss Help as it was happening. It made the experience fun for me, and hopefully it was interesting for those of you that were able to watch. Dr. Wolf and his staff were able to take requests from those watching, like providing closeups and explainations of certain procedures and devices. For those of you considering going to Dr. Wolf for your HT, don't be concerned about the live WebCast. It is, by no means, something they push on you. In fact, they said this was only the second time they had an interactive broadcast like that ... so you can go in complete privacy if you wish. Most patients do.

Can you find Dr. Wolf in this picture?
I will update this page whenever I get good pictures, but early in the recovery/growth phase, I can't say enough about the professionalism and ability of Brad Wolf and his staff. Assisting during my procedure was Dr. Rubin Bogin, as well as a few technicians who appeared on camera (and, in some cases, operated the WebCamera). They include Victor, Elena, and Hildi. Ivan assisted behind the scenes for the WebCast. Elena and Hildi were the most popular - at least by those watching the WebCast - for reasons which are obvious if you caught a glimpse. Women are, after all, the main reason we care about our hair in the first place.

I am not an expert, nor do I play one on TV. I have done a large amount of research on HTs, however, and have recently survived my first. The opinions expressed here are unsolicited and honest. It is your choice to follow them or not. I am not affiliated with Bradley R. Wolf, MD ... but based on my results so far, I would highly recommend him no matter where you live. (I live over 6-hours away in Niagara Falls, NY - there must be at least 50 surgeons closer to me than Dr. Wolf is in Cincinnati.)
