The fishing is promising starting
from May, but for those lure fishermen the best period
begins in the middle of June. |

A good one repellent it is
fundamental to avoid discomforts, mainly in the first
hours of the day and in the end of afternoon (the
mosquitos attack hours). |
Equipments

|
Throw fishing: rods of medium-heavy
potency, for lines with resistance between 17 and 30
pound; compatible casting or spinning reels; floating
and running floating lures sizing around 8
centimeters, spoons and spinners; leader of flexible
steel with resistance around 20 pounds and small snaps
to facilitate the change of baits.

Bottom fishing: Heavy weight rods,
carbon made or other light and resistant material;
casting and spinning reels of good quality and
compatible size; lines with resistance among 25 and 50
pounds, and fishhooks with size between 6/0 and 10/0,
between 4/0 and 7/0 short stem for tambaquis and
pirapitingas. |

Fly fishing: two groups being one
of number7 and another of number 4 equipped with lines
WFS or WFI, and flies, type streamers, poppers and
bug's. |
|
Accessory: leader (steel made) with
resistance between 25 pounds and 50 pounds; swivels 1
to 3, resistant snaps n° 1 to 3, and olive type
sinkers with weight varying between 30 and 200 grams.

For personal use: suntan lotion,
repellent, polarized glasses, cap or hat, raincoat and
blouses. |
