If it had not have been for the accidental findings of some little red tiles in the 1960s, the Palace at Fishbourne may still be unknown to this day. The constrution of a water main led to one of the greatest discoveries of its time, the Palace at Fishbourne. Located in village of Fishbourne, England, located just west of Chichester. Archaeologists and historians were drawn together in one common goal; to piece together the amazing story of one of the most splendid palaces of Romano-British influence ever built. However, after 10 years of excavation, there is still little that is known about this great palace.
