| The latest news, as reported in a Swiss Paper by Jimmy Kelly himself, is that The Kelly Family plans to make a big "Come Back" in 2009. With a possible new album in the works, as well as a tour and previous members to return, it sounds like a lot of good things happening. As for coming to the States....well that is still not known! :)))) s due to close down at the end of November 2008. Whether, this is indefinate or not, is still unclear, perhaps they will be shutting down the shop to update and make changes?? This is what we all would like to see I'm sure! |

| Article about "Paddy" ...er...Brother John Paul Mary "With his shoulder length hair, he was the "heart throb" of the Kelly Family band. His songs were heard by millions and concerts were seen by millions. At that time he was known as PADDY KELLY. Now, today, he hair is shaved. He lives in a meager room without a shower, and wears a simple gray monk robe. He prays for 5 hours each day, and his new name is BROTHER JOHN PAUL MARY. "Paddy" has lived now, for 4 years as a novice in the Catholic order of St. Jean in Burgundy, France. Seperated from all wordly things and unidentified by his fans, BILD found him... PADDY KELLY IS NOW A MONK! So how did "Paddy" become Brother John? "I was in Lourdes in 1999, that was my turning point - the beginning of my conversion. Since that point, God became more and more the center of my life. It became so strong, that I wanted to give myself completely to God. " When asked about his memories of his former life, he replied.." I think the success and the money, somewhat dazzled us, so that we forgot what was important. " |

| Paddy In Medjugorjie on August 4th and 5th 2008 "Brother John Paul Mary (Paddy Kelly) former member of the famous Irish group, The Kelly Family, appeared in Medjugorjie for the first time since entering the monastery of St. Johannes. He stood before a large crowd and spoke about his new life with God. Before tens of thousands of people Paddy spoke, saying " Do not be afraid, for you are the holy ones of the new millennium." Then he continued on. " I came here today to tell you about a true story of a boy who was allowed a life of fame and fortune for many years in the eye of the music industry. But, this did not make the boy happy at all. In fact, it became so bad, that he realized that he could no longer go on living this way, he would rather be dead, then to live that life any further. But as he stood there, looking into the face of death, that when a great change happened. Despite all his tears, the boy was given hope through God. He began to read the bible each day, and through the bible he was given hope. At last, one day, the boy met a priest. After talking much with the priest the boy knew he wanted to repent for his sins in the past and join the holy confession. He also thought, that maybe he too would also become a priest. As if by accident, one day, he was flipping through the channels when he saw documentry on the Pilgrimage of Lourdes At first he thought, this is a place for old stuffy people!
