| First Flights pedal planes is a family-owned business based in Versailles, Kentucky. The husband-wife team design and custom-build pedal-powered WWI and WWII replica military airplanes for children up to 8 years of age. Although these planes don't leave the ground, you wouldn't know it from the smiles on the pilots' faces! First Flights travels to airshows in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee with their pedal F4U Corsair, their pedal Spad XIII bi-plane, and their pedal P-40 Warhawk as a ride vendor. While the youngsters try out their wings, parents, grandparents, and friends can take a stroll down memory lane listening to WWII-era music and the military uniforms and memorabilia on display.
