SPECIAL OFFERINGS

We believe that God calls upon us to
exercise both generosity and wisdom as we minister in the name of Christ. Through
intentional and proportional giving, we are able to give thanks to a Creator who has given
us far more than we could ever repay. |
In addition to our budgetary offerings, First Baptist Church collects four Special Offerings:

America for Christ Offering. The
offering funds life-changing mission and ministries such as community outreach, new church
development, camping ministries, and conferences in the United States and Puerto Rico. |

One Great Hour of Sharing is a
non-profit, ecumenical ministry that provides for the needy all over the world. They
represent the disaster relief, refugee response, and long-term development work of ten
protestant denominations. Most of their focus is overseas, but they also recognize
and support similar needs in the United States. |

International Ministries Offering

Missionaries Benefit Board Offering Serving ministers, missionaries and lay
employees of American Baptist Churches/USA and related organizations.Administering
lifetime benefits and services and promoting the better maintenance of the ministry. |
