The Small Faces - The Ultimate Collection
Charly, February 2000
(no pic of the album available)

The Small Faces were clearly one of the best rock/pop groups of the sixties. With influences from blues and soul, singer and former actor Steve Marriot...actually, if you want the whole story, which is long but an interesting one,  you better visit the "room for ravers" site by clicking the picture above.

Members:

Steve "Come on children" Marriot, vocals
Ronnie "Plonk" Lane, guitar
Jimmy "Big" Winston, keybords and bass
Ian "Small" Mclagan, keyboards and bass (later on)
Kenney Jones, drums

The Ultimate Collection contains no less than 40 tracks, with the best single tracks included. Classics like "All or nothing", "My mind's eye", "Here come the nice" and "Itchycoo park" together with great, soulful rock'n'roll tracks like "Song of a baker", "Rollin' over" and "Wham bam thank you mam" are among the best songs on this collection. An original album and another collection will also be recommended on this page later.
