Holidays Celebrated By Witches

Witches celebrate the cycle of the seasons. There are eight holidays, which are referred to as sabbats. The four solar holidays (Yule, Ostara, Litha and Mabon) are referred to as quarters. These are the solstices and equinoxes, all considered very magickal days. The cross-quarters (Imbolc, Beltaine, Lughnasadh and Samhain) are simply the days which fall in between the quarters.
