Makeup is an essential part of the performance of the musical. It is one of the things that defines the actors as cats. It helps to make each cat unique, where some of the costumes are similar in pattern. It visually defines the character.... well, you get the picture. It's important. It's cool. Now, how do you get your face to look like that? Hopefully, some of what I've got here can help you. If you're coming into this without any knowledge of makeup, head over to my introduction page. There're definitions of some of the terms in there, and instructions on how to interpret some of the stuff up here. If you feel comfortable with terminology, head over to the materials section, where you'll be able to take a look at my feelings about some different types of makeup as it applies to making Cats faces. Know the terms? Got a favorite makeup already? Then go straight to patterns, where I've drawn out the face patterns from the video onto a generic face pattern. So... do some exploring, and I'd be glad to hear from you about it.

Note: If I've done a makeup, pics of it are under "My Works", below.

Sorry, I won't be accepting pictures to put up here any more, because of the reduced page maintenance.
