Constitution of the Lynbrook Photography Club
I. The name of this organization shall be Lynbrook Photography Club
Article II: Objectives and Activities
I. The objectives of this organization are to provide information, experiences with photography in a variety of contexts, and to let students learn about the different aspects of photography.
II Activities include:
a) Taking pictures, sharing them, and printing them
b) Developing photographic style
c) Learn about different types of cameras, lenses, techniques, etc.
d) Using Adobe Photoshop to edit pictures
e) Going on field trips to events/places related to photography
f) Contests/Competitions
g) Posting the pictures on the Web
h) Possible coverage of school events

Article III: Membership
I. Qualifications for membership:
a) Interest in photography
b) Annual club dues of $2 paid
Article IV: Officers
I. The officers of this organization shall be President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
II. The length of officer terms shall be one school year.
III. The responsibility of the President includes organization and execution of meetings. The duties of the Vice President include standing in for the President in his/her absence, and advisor/member communications. The Secretary will be responsible for the posting of club related notices, collecting any forms, and maintaining a current list of the club members. The Treasurer responsibilities involve management of club funds, upkeep of a current list of members and their dues status, and any other club-related financial responsibilities.
Article V: Election of Officers
I. Election of Officers is as followed: Nominations for the officer positions will be taken in the preceding meeting and will be voted on by the present members of the club at the following meeting. Nominations must be seconded by another member. Elections will be held after Homecoming Week.
Article VI: Meetings
I. Members will first sign in. Officers shall make announcements of upcoming events. Members will share photos and discuss photography related topics.
II. Meetings will be held on Fridays in room 408. The time will alternate between brunch and lunch every other week.
Article VII: Amendments
I. Amendments to this constitution shall be adopted by two-thirds vote of the members present at a regular meeting of the club.
