"That was the biggest monster I've ever seen!" Deke shouts, pumping a fist in the air. "Hey, man, that was awesome!"

"Can you teach me to do that?" Merlyn asks.

"When I learn to use a sword, will I be able to do that?" you ask.

Rial holds up his hands, but can't quite hide the smile on his face. "That was my 'blaze of glory'," he says. "I told you I'm good at destruction."

Deke turns to you and Merlyn. "I changed my mind," he says. "I don't care if this guy might be a little wacko. I want him on our team!"

"Thanks, Deke," says Rial.
