"He's too strong," Deke moans. "We can't do it."

The sorceror's firestorm continues to rage around you. A hundred burning darts pierce your skin, and you collapse. A giant firesnake completely engulfs Merlyn. You try to cry out to her, but the ash in the air chokes you. Flame and flaming debris rain down on you from all the ceiling. You frantically turn and begin to crawl, but there is nowhere to go. The roar of the flames and the sorceror's mad laughter blend together into one echoing inferno of sound. A massive fireball strikes you, and you fall to the burning floor. You feel your body begin to burn, just like in the dream.

But unlike the dream, this has an ending. When you die in reality, it's all over.
