"Suit yourselves," he says, and starts his horses walking again. "You probably wouldn't like it much in my wagon anyway; I�m carrying a load of cacti. You kids be careful, though!" he calls as he leaves. "You never know what's out there..."
You all stare after him for a moment. Then Merlyn says, "Well, everybody, let's get moving. We've still got a long, long way to go!"
"Hey!" Deke shouts, looking around. I think I know a shortcut! We'll have to leave the road, but it'll save us time. Follow me!"
So, with little other choice, you follow Deke into the wilderness.
