| Hello, my name is Jeff Ownby. I am a second-generation firefighter with Whitfield County Fire Department in Dalton Georgia. I have been involved in the Fire service since 1990, as a Fire Explorer, Firefighter and a Fire Dispatcher with both Whitfield County Fire Department and Dalton City Fire Department. I am Currently the Administrative Supervisor at Whitfield County E-911 Center. My father works full time as the Assistant Chief with the Whitfield County Fire Department. Currently I am a Firefighter with WCFD Station One. Station One responds with 1 Rescue / Engine & 1 Tanker to approximately 800 incidents each year inside a very populated residential area.
