Lesson Four

Air Visualisation

I started by lying on my bed with the ceiling fan on. Being skyclad I could feel the air all over my body. I can easily make each part of my body go numb in turn, as I have been doing a meditation using this technique for about 5 years. After doing this I imagined by body as a golden light, with golden threads holding me down to my physical body. As these thread started to snap by body seemed to feel like it was spinning. I felt kind of like a barbeque chicken on the rotisserie.

After a while this sensation ceased and I just felt light, like a eather. I floated around my room, and went and explored the back yard. The air was electric around me as there was a storm raging at the time. The difference from the gentle fan breeze in my room, to the violent winds outside really made me feel the different in the air element.

From this visualisation I think I can more deeply understand the element of air. By not just seeing the gently breeze, the calming air, but seeing the violent air, air of passion, I feel I have gained a greater knowledge of the air element. I would recommend trying this visualisation during a storm to experience the air in a different way.

The Water Visualisation

I started the visualisation how it was outlined in AOW. However once I was in the water, I became a being that was made of water. I was clear and bluish like the ocean, and moved through it like a mermaid. I could move so fast through the water! I think I may have become apart of the water as I was proabably afraid if being myself floating in the ocean, I have a phobia of sharks and never swim past waist level water at the beach. Being thrust into the sky, and floating through the air into the arm of water was a great feeling. I felt very light and free, and water was so refreshing when I was once again drawn back down. Anyway thats about my expereince of it :)
