Our New Home!
After three long months of preparation and a WHOLE lot of money, we finally sold our house in Clarksdale and moved to our new home in Panola County, Mississippi, about 10 miles west of Batesville. We are so thrilled! We got a 1730 sq. foot brick home with a double carport and an acre of land. The kids love it! The only thing is that we're basically in the middle of nowhere - the closest store, a gas station, is about six miles from us!
As a matter of fact, we are living in a farming community, so everywhere you look there are nothing but cotton fields and skies. It's very quiet except for the occasional tractor. And one other thing: we stay about a mile down a gravel road. You just can't get more country that that! I've heard a bunch of people say that our road will be paved eventually, but as for now, we'll have to eat dust.
