We have had so many calls for serious and non-serious people about our westies and westies puppies. Because of this we have had to make a change in our procedure of the waiting list. To make sure that only those that are serious are placed on the waiting list, we now will require that the following information be sent: full name, address, city, state, zip, and phone number along with which sex and pet quality or possible show/breed quality that is wanted along with a non-refundable deposit of $35.00. The name will then be placed on the list as the next person in line and called in the order that they are on the list once a puppy is available. Once called, they can chose to take a puppy from the available litter or wait for the next litter.
Once the puppies are 4 weeks old we require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 300.00 to hold a puppy for the buyer. A deposit is a legal & binding contract & states you agree with the terms set forth in my website on this page so please READ IT ALL Completely. Failure to follow any of the guidelines may cause you to lose the pup you're wanting to reserve. Deposit must be sent in certified check, personal check, or money order. Balance paid at time the pup is picked up is in cash only.
Any and all paid deposits are applied to the balance of the amount due for the puppy.
If puppy is to be shipped, shipping cost is what the airline charges plus the cost of the shipping crate and shipping health certificate. Total shipping cost is $250.00 to anywhere in the U.S. We DO NOT like to ship out of the United States but have. If puppy needs to be shipped out of the country, buyer assumes all responsiblities the minute the puppy leaves the sellers hands and is turned over to the airlines. If shipping to a country that also requires a Export Certificate, only a few do, the extra cost of $109.00 which pays the Vet and State Agriculture Dept.fee plus the Overnight Mail fees. I do not make any money on any of the shipping fees or costs
Shipping to most major airports in the US. Air shipping is safe and we do not feel a puppy is in any danger. We have shipped for a good number of years and have found that Continental Airlines is the best and most caring of the animals.
For those needing their puppy shipped by air: total payment ( including all shipping cost) is due by the time the puppy is 6 weeks old. We never accept personal checks or credit cards checks as final payment. Money orders or certified checks only when being shipped.
To be eligible for the following guarantee, Buyer must take the puppy for a Vet check within 48 hours, Working Days, of receiving the puppy or all guarantees are VOID. This guarantee is not transferable to anyone other than the original buyer! If the pup has a problem during this period, buyer must notify the seller IMMEDIATELY. Seller is not responsible for any Vet bills once the pup is in buyer's care.
Contract Reads as the Following:
This dog is guaranteed as follows: It is understood that at the time of sale this dog is considered a quality pet & is representative of it's breed. It is structurally & temperamentally suited as a companion & obedience dog. There is no guarantee as to show quality given for this dog but it is possible. This dog has had it's first shots, been wormed, Vet examined, & has a Health Certificate from the Vet. This dog is guarantees for 48 hours against any health irregularities. It is recommended that the buyer have animal examined by a Vet during this time in order to not cancel this guarantee. A replacement pup will be given if the Vet deems this dog unhealthy & will give the breeder a written statement to that affect. No other guarantee is given except in case of heredity defect which renders the dog unsuitable as a pet up to 1 year of age. In this instance, a replacement pup only, will be given as soon as possible from different parents. Pup must be returned in same condition as purchased (no illness or injury from neglect). This dog is sold as a pet quality animal and is not for breeding purposes. AKC papers will be on a limited registration only and if bred, no puppies from the breeding can be registered. Limited registered dogs can be shown in Obedience or Agility shows only. Buyer agrees from this day forward seller has no finanical responsibilities incurred on this dog what so ever. Firebaugh is to be a part of the dogs name. Buyer agrees to contact seller if they can no longer care for this animal before anything is done, as seller maybe able to find another home for it.
