The Firebaron Home Page
This page is dedicated to the All enthusiasts of Shelby-inspired turbo dodges.  The FIREBARON, is my project 1990 LeBaron GTC Turbo. I bought it about a year and a half ago. It truly was the paint that caught my eye. Also the fact that the car had many options found on a VNT car of the same year. it had the large front brakes, and the vented rear discs. It also had factory 16" rims. So the car needed some help in the suspension department. I used Eibach springs, and Mopar Performance struts and shocks.   New suspension hardware (minus bushings for the control arms)was installed. The  car was a Turbo I engine, with a automatic trans. At it's best it ran a 15.89 in the 1/4 mile. It now has an intercooler and custom piping. It also has a 2.5" exhaust system. It was running well till I blew the head gasket..(update soon).....here is a pict of the car at the 2002 Chryslers in Carlisle, in PA!
This is a picture of the car on the show field. (Notice the can of Code Red Mountain Dew) for those of you who saw the movie "Return of the Killer Tomatoes"
This is a picture of the engine bay close up. The Intercooler has been totally stripped of paint in the fins and has been painted a matching red on the outside edges. The piping is custom as well. This
The strut tower bar is a matrix unit, made for another car. It has been modified to fit the car, shown in this picture.
