Well, the block has been fully machined and balanced. A 2.2 pan was used due to the removal of the balance shafts. | Here you can see the JE Pistons...and some of the well done machine work. Sorry the picts are low quality, but hey, this is geocities!!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The head has been reconditioned, and looks like a new casting!!! The block was painted chrysler red, and the distrubitor was done aluminum. Will be using a red wells dist. cap, as well as red magnacore wires. The intake is ported, and was powdercoated chrome (or near chrome in this case) Still looks good | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Installed the Turbonation turbo line kit. Good quality, and the price is right!! The waterneck was cleaned and painted to match the distrubitor. More to come very soon!!!! |

TThe turbo is a rebuilt Garette unit. It is larger than the stock Mitsubishi unit that used to occupy this space..... Those turbo lines just fit!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Well the engine is in, and it is running well. Just about finished with the 1000 mile break in, and two oil changes later, I am ready for synthetic Mobil One. I do not have a picture of the engine in the car becaus I still need to rute vacuum lines, and I have a new computer calibration that needs to go in, as well as a new fuel rail, injectors, and a 3 bar MA-P sensor! Them I will raise the boost to 18 PSI......then....(insert evil grin here!!!) |
