J was getting out of bed,rubbing his eyes with clenched fists,while walking over to the ringing telephone in the livingroom.He muttered something under his breath as he almost tripped over a pair of shoes,questioning himself why he had left them in the middle of the room,and picked up the phone.
�What!?�he said,obviously not very pleased with the very early interuption.
�Hi J.�
J raised an eyebrow at hearing a familiar voice.
�Rich?I�m warning you that if you don�t have a damn good reason to ring me out of bed,then��
But Rich interupted his bandmate and replied in a very aggitated way�Shut up and listen to me,alright!I�m in hospital.�
�What are you doing in hospital?�J asked in surprise.Ideas of fights and arguments started to fill J�s mind but those thoughts disappeared in a rush when hearing Rich say�Scott had a caraccident last night.�
�A caraccident?What has that git done now again?�
Rich sighed hearing J�s sarcasm.�He�s into a coma.�
�A coma!?�J yelled in shock.He had never imagined something bad like that would have happened.Rich nodded at the other end of the line and stated�Listen,me and Abs are at the Royal already.Would you pick Sean up on your way here?�
�Yeah,of course I would�Rich,is he going to be fine?�
�I don�t know mate.Just come,alright?We�re at the third floor.�
�I�ll be there.�
�Hey baby.How are you doing?�Kerry asked as she sat down next to Scott�s bed.Luckily the doctors hadn�t discovered any new complications but Kerry knew that Scott�s condition was very serious and that it would get more threatening if he wasn�t waking up from his coma soon.She grabbed her boyfriend�s hand and tried hard not to think of the wedding they had been planning for months.If only the accident hadn�t happened everything would have been perfectly fine but Kerry knew she couldn�t keep thinking of that,there were other,much more important,things to keep busy with.At that moment Abs entered the room,followed by Rich.
�We�ve called them and they�re on their way.�Rich stated and Kerry nodded her head.
�When will they come?�she asked and Abs replied�As soon as possible.As for Scott�s parents,I expect them to arrive here any minute.�
�Thank you.�Kerry whispered with a small weak smile before she returned her attention to Scott again.Rich and Abs shared a few glances but then decided the best thing to do was to join Kerry as she needed them the most at the moment.Rich sat across from Kerry and looked down at Scott�s pale face.He found it far too hard to see his best mate like that and wished there wa something he could do but knew that that was amost impossible.Even the doctors had no clue what else to do to help Scott.
The three people just sat there for ages,waiting for a door to open or a miracle to happen but the room kept totally quiet,the only sound the soft beeping of the machines beside the bed.Kerry was just deciding on whether to go out and get some fresh air to clear her mind a bit,when suddenly she noticed something in the corner of her eye.She looked down at Scott�s face and to both her shock and surprise she realized he had opened his eyes and was staring at the white ceiling above him.
�Scott!?�she shouted a soon as it had all sunken in,her screaming drawing the attention from Abs and Rich.
�Oh God.�Rich muttered as he saw the small wonder that was taking place in the room.
Kerry turned her head towards Abs for a second and yelled�Get a doctor!�And without hestitation the rapper ran out of the room.
�Scott?Come on mate,look at me.�Rich tried but to his surprise it seemed like Scott wasn�t hearing a thing from his and Kerry�s pleads.Just when the great feeling of happiness was leaving them again a doctor entered the room,Abs right behind him.He took a short look at the whole scene but then nodded his head and exclaimed�That�s a very good sign.�
Rich raised an eyebrow and asked impatiently�Might be but why isn�t he reacting on us?�
�He will soon.This is just the beginning of his waking and he needs time to recover completely.�the doctor replied while he checked a few machines and wrote something down on a piece of paper.Kerry still couldn�t take her eyes off of Scott and gently kissed him on the forehead,lovingly stroking his hair.
�You�re gonna be fine,Scott,I promise you.Now just try to rest some more,I�ll stay here.I love you,for always and forever,baby.�she whispered in his ear and she watched as he closed his eyes again,obviously understanding her words very clearly.As soon as Scott had fallen asleep again,Kerry and the lads smiled at eachother,knowing they had witnessed something very hopefull and special�
