Day 2 - Part 4
-Oh, I hate this town, Nick sighed as he saw fans from the window of the limo.
-Fuck off, AJ said. You love it. Admit it all right.
Nick grins.
-You know me too well, my man. But then again, whats your situation?
-What do you mean?
-Could we at least once speak about things in their real name? Where is Helen?
-She wanted to stay in.
-Because of the baby?
-Partly. But
-But what?
AJ looked Nick with confused look.
-Im not used to talk with you like this.
-Yeah, I know. You go to daddy. But hey, Im here, Kevins not. And I wont let you spoil my evening.
-Oh, the selfish reasons.
Nick grinned wider.
-Always. But seriously, whats the matter? Are you still thinking Anna? Wow, she was kind of a lady. If you wouldnt have been crazy about her from the start maybe I would have had a chance.
-No you would not. What do you mean from the start?
-Camoon man, you took her home with you. So you just pick someone from there for what? Obviously you wanted to fuck her. Which you did. Great. Now are you still in love with her?
-I miss her.
-Sure. We all do. Point is that do you still love her? Or lust her? Is it painful to go home to Helen? By the way, are you gonna get married?
AJ shook his head.
-I havent proposed her. And I wont.
-Why not?
-I dont believe in marriage.
-Uh-huh. Thats new. From you I mean. So how are things going with Helen? Having good sex? Ive heard that pregnant women can sometimes be really horny.
-Nick!
-What? Tell me. Fast. Were soon there.
-We havent had sex.
-What?!?
-There hasnt been a good time for that.
-Theres always a good time for sex.
-When did you get like that?
-Like what? Nick tries to look innocent. So what if I like sex? You used too.
-I did. And I still do. Its just
-Youre not over Anna.
-I guess so.
-Let me give you one advice. Id give you many but were almost there. If youre going to be with Helen, have a child with her and live with her and the baby for the rest of your life, fuck her and fuck her fast. The rest will follow. Trust me on this one.
-I wouldnt trust you on anything, AJ said.
-Well, bad for you. Gonna party hard tonight? Come on, its New Years Eve!!!
In another limo were Brian and Leighanne.
-Would you like to repeat where were going? Lee asked.
-Sure. I do not know.
-You do not know.
-Whats new about that?
-Nothing. So Howie organized whole thing?
-Pretty much.
-Oh.
-Dont be like that, Brian said kissing his wife to her neck.
-Like what?
-Like you wouldnt know how to party anymore.
Leighanne sighed.
-Theres just so much to think of.
-Yeah. Like what?
-Like AJ and Helen. Like Anna. Like Kevin and Kristin.
-What about those two?
-Who? AJ and Helen?
-No. I know whats going on there. But what about Kev? Whats wrong with my cousin and his wife?
-Nothing, Lee said. Its just that
-Its just what?
-Well, remember how we used to all kind of things together? Just four of us. Nowadays I rarely see Kristin. Theyre always just two of them. Like when we went at that holiday to that painful little town we all were there, but not Kristin and Kevin.
-What holiday?
-At those cottages. When Helen called AJ and
-Oh that one. But they came there, right?
-And left as soon as Anna had gone.
-So what are you actually implying?
-I think that those two have some kind of troubles in their marriage.
-If they spent every free moment together?
-Yeah.
-Oh, youre so wrong. I know Kevin. He would have told me if there was anything wrong in his life.
-I didnt say that there would be anything wrong. Maybe Kevin doesnt know it either.
-Wow! Youre making this big. Lee, I know that youre good with people but remember that youre talking about Kevin, my reasonable cousin who very much loves his wife, as well as I do.
-I really hope youre right.
-And anyway this isnt the night to think things like this. This is the night you promise things you keep for two days and promise those next year again. And I promise you that we will finally keep that celibate weve been talking about, Brian whispered.
-Oh yeah, like you would be able to that, Leighanne laughed.
-Yeah well, maybe for two days, Brian mumbled.
-Maybe for two hours, Leighanne said and kissed Brian intensively.
-Maybe for two minutes.
