| In the Beginning, God decided to make a new world. He made the day and the night. He made the ground and the sky. He made the plants and the animals. And he made men. Now, he did all of this in just seven days. When he made humans, he started with Adam. He was called man. He was made from the dirt of the earth. Then Adam wanted another. God made Eve, a women. Thus was the beginning of our earth. Fun Stories For Kids Coming Soon! One day Jimmy came running up to the house. He was red in the face and looked livid (really mad). "I Hate Mike," said Jimmy. Now, Jimmy's mom was inside the house and she heard what Jimmy had said. She thought to herself; "Jimmy seems pretty upset. It is interesting however, that he doesn't like Mike. They were best friends this morning." So Jimmy's mom went outside to talk with Jimmy. They sat down on the wooden swing on the porch. Rocking gently back and forth Jimmy began to cool off. His mother soon heard the whole story. They were playing ball like usual, Mike had invited another friend along and he introduced the two boys to each other. Then right after Mike had said "This is Jimmy, Joe," Joe had started to make fun of Jimmy. He later said it was all Mike's idea. He said Mike had talked about Jimmy before but he said mean things like "he's a dork" and "Flimsy Jimmy." That was it. It was that simple and Jimmy was angry. His mother could see how that could upset him but she also knew he had no right to hate Mike. She told him so. She said "Honey, I know you're mad at Mike right now but hate is really evil. It corrupts us. Don't ever hate someone again. Try to look past what has happened. Try to forgive and then ask for forgiveness as well." Jimmy heard this and went quickly down the path to the ball field to play ball. |
