| It all started in basement a long time ago in a place not too far from here. There were four people with a vision: Steve Crockett, Kevin George, Greg Rudawski, and Nick Williams. They wanted to form a band like none other. This band would never have a true name or place in the world. Regular practices ceased, Greg and Nick quit, and that left Kevin and Steve with nowhere to go (and not to mention they had no drummer) Matt Denny joined the band unofficially not to long after that and the search for the drummer was on. Three that needed a fourth. They were FINDING THE FOURTH. A lot of months later at a Holt High School football game Kevin and Steve decided to ask Ben Hayhurst (a then unkown, undiscovered, but very talented drummer) to join the band. He gladly accepted and we were soon practicing regularly in his basement. However, quickly coming to the realization that none of us could sing we asked fellow HJH freshman (and neighbor of Ben) Peter Piper to sing for us. Now we didn't know how well this kid could sing but we had heard that he had sung for fellow band Jinx (now Dykstra) and let me tell you: He's pretty awesome. That, my friends, is the history of Finding The Fourth and the origin of its name. |
