I have been asked many times if I would sell my birds very young and uncolored. I would never sell a Lady Gouldian Finch before they have completed their juvenile moult. The moulting process is very stressful and can take many months. Moving to a new home is just as stressful and the two combined are a sure killer.
It is therefore in Your best interest to only buy fully colored out Lady Gouldians.
