| I bought my quails from a commercial aviary with a concrete floor and the moment they were released into my aviary they began dust bathing, spending the first few hours rolling about in the dry soil. I think this is an important thing to provide, the dust helps them combact mites etc. And they just love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a large hollow log in the covered section of the aviary which the birds use as a shelter. They are very resilient and do not require any special type of housing. |
