PilipinoCulturalNight
PCN is one of the big events that Mabuhay Cultural Club dose over the school year. Once Started in the year 2005, when Mark Peter Panem had told Kristine Dungo [ president that year ], and Elinor " Chai" Cruz [ secretary that year ], that the club should do a PCN, because it would be fun, and all the club members would enjoy it. All the Officers had agreed to do the PCN.

They went on to start planning it, it was only two months before their PCN. All the members and the directors work hard to have a good practice, but since it was the first year of PCN, the members didn't seem to be much dedicated to come to practice. On Winter Brake a few members came everyday, but the three directors still managed to pull through a five hour practice for 5 days. Going back to school, having practice everydayfor different parts of the show with in 2 hours. was also difficult. Members in the club had other actives, that made it hard to get everyone at practice. Once Spring brake came, all the members started to come and practice was getting more serious, and it was working well, then before. Through out the planning of PCN a few problems came up out of no-where. This such as time limit of the PCN, cutting of one of the skits, and most big one was finance, but they over came all that.

Once it came to their Pilipino Cultural Night, they put on a great show, everyone loved it, the show it self was great, the Directors of the PCN for "Buging Simula" that year were Seniors; Mark Peter Panem, Kristin Dungo, and Elinor "Chai" Cruz, all three of them we're really proud with everyone, the hard work they put in for getting the show to pull through. Now Mabuhay is continuing to produce a Pilipino Cultural Night every year.
