Highlights
Following weeks of prayer, training and preparation at the sending base in Mililani Fil-Am Baptist Church, Oahu, Hawaii, the 15-member Mission trip team set out on a short term missionary journey:
Destination: Santa Barbara, Llanera, Nueva Ecija, Philippines
Date: May 23-June 4, 2006
Objectives: Exalt the Lord in worship, praise and prayer; Evangelize the Lost - the unsaved and the unchurched; edify the local Body in the Word and fellowship; equip the Saints through discipleship; enlarge the Kingdom through church planting.
At the core of these multifaceted ministries in the The Mission slated for autonomy -- self-governing, self-supporting and self-propagating Santa Barbara Christian Fellowship Church.
Target audience: Five age-groups with their special needs: Children (Grades 1-6): Tessie, Jen, Jean, Edra, remy, Ravhel, and Mario. Youth: Bing-Bing, Joanna, & Butch; College: Grace, Kevin, Pastor Sam, & Marlon. Women: Nelda. Men: Pastor Jude.
