| Admit -Confess to God that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23). Repent and turn away from your sin (Acts 3:19). Believe -Believe that Jesus is God's Son and that God sent Jesus to save people from their sins (John 3:16, Romans 5:8). Commit -Give your life to Jesus. Trust Him to be your Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10) |

| In other words, since we are not perfect and have committed acts of wrongdoing (sin), we cannot enter heaven because we do not have the power to do so by ourselves. We're only human! Additionally, since heaven is perfect and we are not, how can we even expect to go there when we die in the first place? Only God can get us into heaven, but don't expect Him to automatically do it for us without us asking Him. We have to first tell God himself that we are a sinner (a person who has done something wrong whether it's as big as commiting a crime or even a little thing such as thinking about doing something wrong). Then, we have to believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth 2,000 years ago, was nailed to a cross by Roman soldiers, died, was resurrected (came back to life), and then went back to heaven. Jesus did this in order to show us that He loved us so much that He would die just for us. Finally, we have to allow Jesus to have total control over our lives. That means we have to recognize Him as our Lord. In order to do this, all you have to do is pray this simple prayer... Dear God, I admit I am a sinner in need of you. Please forgive me of my sins and give me abundant life here on earth and eternal life with you in heaven. I believe Jesus died and rose again for my sins. I confess Jesus as Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name, Amen.. |
