GOAL |
Guided by the general philosophy
of the College, as well as regional and national development
goals, the main objectives of the GS are to facilitate efforts
towards personal and professio9nal development; enhance moral
and spiritual vigor for the development of the total person
and to extend the frontiers of knowledge through research to
attain academic excellence and leadership in the fields of education,
science and technology. |
GENERAL
OBJECTIVES |

To
equip tertiary teachers in general education subjects with the
necessary curricular knowledge in their field of specialization. |

To
train teachers in college, high school and elementary levels
in the upgrading of teaching strategies in the general education
subjects to improve teaching competencies; |

To
fill teaching positions and other educational positions in both
public and private schools with competent teachers who are masteral
graduates. |

To
answer the need for qualified teachers to evaluate and teach
general education subjects in higher and basic education in
order to produce quality graduates in their major areas; |

raise the prestige of the teaching profession by offering opportunities
for its high academic professionalization. |

imbue teachers with the proper values of responsible and responsive
citizens in democratic society. |
