Another Week In the Bright Lights
Like last week, I am cancelling my travel plans to the Wheat City. I’m playing at a house party with in the urban core. I think I’m going to treat myself to a bottle of the deer head, better known as Jagermeister, as I plan on putting my freak into full effect.Valentine’s day went better than anticipated. Lieutenant Shnay, James and I attended the 80’s dance party at the Pyramid Caberet. After a good pre-game show of red wine and rap music it was off to dance the night away to the likes of Cory Heart, Devo and Men Without Hats. Whiskey & water was drank and numbers were exchanged as love was in the air. From there it was back the green house on Spence St. for Pizza Hotline and submission.
It’s Fun To Be Literate
The week was spent reading, and working on some web stuff. We made adventured to Cousin’s (a local drinking hole) for some pitcher’s of dark beer. For those of you in the city, I recommend you try the Kinish if you’re ever in the area. The Spinach and Feta cheese ones are soooooo good.
I’ve been reading Cat’s Cradle, a fictional story about the family of the father of the atom bomb, and Dispatches, a journalists memories of his years spent in Vietnam covering the war. Both are excellent.
