I just finished watching Rick the Temps last Much Music appearance. Much Music's talent pool is now coming to a dwindling end. The VJs that they have now are terrible with a minor exception when Sara Taylor performs average in comparison. I don't know what it is, the current line of VJs is just not likeable. The guys are Matte Babel, Devon Soltendieck. Have you ever seen these guys? At least Bradford was tolerable after a couple of months and even decent at the end of his stint. Bradford, Rainbow, Rick, George, Rachel Perry, Amanda Walsh. How far has the mighty music station fallen. Even floor directors JP and Manny are better than the current lineup in my opinion.

So what is new in my life. Not much actually. I went and saw the Foo Fighters when they came through town. It was a really good show. I never thought I'd see Dave Grohl play drums, though I probably never will again either. In September I'm gonna go see Moneen, Rufio, and Yellowcard. This is probably the best lineup for a local show in a long time and I'm really excited to go. So what else....hmmmm....oh yeah. I'm still unemployed. I've been getting my interviews as of late though which is a plus. I'm getting kind of pissed off though as finishing just short and getting placed on eligibility lists but what can you do. I've got at least two more interviews this upcoming week. Maybe something will come of them. I'm not in dire straits for money or anything. I'm getting bored of having all this extra time on my hands though. These past few weeks though have been alright as I have been studying for my CGA exam that I have next week. I should be prepared but you never know. As it stands at this very moment I'm not too confident, but I still have a couple of days to pull it all together.

I think when December rolls around I'm giving up my apartment. I'm not a fan of downtown Winnipeg anymore. I'm not too sure where I plan to move yet but I'm thinking St. Vital/Fort Rouge or Grant Park area. I think I do want a roommate this time to cut down costs, but could handle living alone again too just for the personal freedom of it. Rent should be significantly cheaper anyways. I feel December is perfect timing. It gives me time to finish my fall course without having to move, time to find a new place, time to find a new job. Who knows. Maybe if I can't find anything solid work wise I'll put a plan from a while ago into action. The West is always appealing to me.
