The Days Blow by and I'm Chilled to the Boner
It seems as though my days disappear before I can catch a glimpse of them. Thus, it feels like I am accomplishing very little. In all actuality I'm making baby steps in a few different directions.Although my job is the same old bullshit day in and day out, I have grown accustomed to the pace and am learning to like it. Good news came via the Yahoo Inbox last week. It appears as though I may be able to pick up some more contract work for a local production company. I'm not getting too excited yet, as nothing is certain, however it's nice to be considered.
Let's get NOISEY
Roommate Greg and I attended a Nagasaki Fondue show on Friday. He is a local noise core artist. After watching his set it was decided that he was well known in Winnipeg because he was the only guy doing it. We resolved to start a project that would kick ass over anything he could possibly imagine.We are still in the planning stages, but things are coming together nicely. It looks as though we will be a mix of tape manipulation, radio frequencies and performance art. It will be interesting.
Let's get Less Noisy
Aside from my dreams of deafening a room full of people with white noise, I've been playing a lot more guitar. The punk band only jams every couple of weeks, so I have been writing some acoustic guitar songs. So far I have one complete song and a bunch of riffs that could go together, or turn into other things. I'm going to just keep hashing it out and see what happens.The Sodomizing Sara(h) project is starting to solidify for a second album. This time around I'm going to expend some cash on the production, or at the very least equiptment. My friend, Jared, has agreed to let me use his studio for free and I will in return do some web design work for him. We're exchanging skills. Neat.

Word around the office is that the sex kitten known as Todd, and his masculine man whore Barnsey will be in the city this weekend. The company Christmas party is on Saturday, so I won't be able to make it to the show, but I'm available earlier in the day for a little romp. Let me know. |  |
