Moving On Out
I'm nearly done moving out of my cousin's house and officially part of the downtown community. As such, I decided it was time for a stealth, downtown haircut that was longer than the old and shorter than the hippie shit. My new look is playing well with the ladies and I am no longer mobbed by Sloan geeks. All is well in the dirty city.Moving on Up
Still lacking the funds to finance my exploits I went for a job interview at CDPLUS headquarters today. Things seem to go fairly well. It sounds as though I will have another interview next week sometime to confirm or deny my position there. The job available is in data entry and tech support, but sounds like an alright way to pass 40 hours a week.Old sayings of hatching chickens and baskets come to mind, but in the end the points is I've been looking for other jobs as well. I applied at a printing company but heard nothing. I also contacted Silver about the Graphics job I was previously interviewed for and received OK news. They haven't filled the position yet and should contact me (hopefully) next week sometime.
In the meantime I am in the development stages of a website for my friends of the grind metal, Arctic Circle. So hope is all but lost.
On the shitty job front, I'm covering for my friend at the Esso for Friday and Saturday. I'm thinking that business will be up with university back in, but time will tell. I need the money to help my sister fund Betty Ann's 50th Birthday party. It's a SURPRISE, so keep your damn mouths shut.
