No Use for a Name, as expected.

Barnsey made an appearance on Fleet Avenue this weekend. After some $7 pizza and a few episodes of Trailor Park boys we made the trek to the Pyramid to have our ears pillaged by punk rock.

The first band, Irish Car Bomb, sucked like a lady on Ellice. Not only did they suffer from the fat bass player syndrome, they lacked talent and bored me. Fortunatly, the show got better as the night progressed. It was hot as hell in the bar and by the time No Use for a Name was going on I was in need of a nap.

The boys came out rocking and snapped me out of my slump. Although they played a fair few off their new disk, they play all my favorites as well. They are wicked musicians and the songs came off perfectly. Definatly worth the cash.

Choke The Monkey!

As previously stated, I have been rocking my mad Flash programming skills at Manlab. The games that I've been building have this stupid monkey doing voice overs all the time and I've heard them so many times I want to wring his little neck. Then I remember that he is actually 5 assembled brown circles with eyes. This makes me more angry, as I have no one to rage at. But the pay is alright. I'm going to work there on Wednesday, then I'm back on the streets. I've applied for a few other jobs at printing places and the such and hope to secure some steady employment soon.

My Days are Numbered

It's been a good 5 months here on Fleet Avenue. However, my days are numbered. Our house officially went on the market today and there have already been 5 groups of people through it. I had to explain some of the art on my walls to the last people who were here, they were nice enough to say they liked it. I think an offer for the house may already be on the table. Thus, I'm movin' on out, slated to move onto Spence street with Employee and his original B. crew at the beginning of next month. Brave souls will now have to come to the heart of the frigid beast that is Winnipeg to find me.

The Past Will Find You

It found me anyway. One of my old carpool friends from Hamilton is flying into the big city on Wednesday. I'm sure beer and hi-jinx will ensue. Sentance Down.
