Back on the Job Trail
After finally recovering from my wisdom tooth ass kicking, it was back to the job hunt. I've hit a bunch of radio stations, an emplyment agency, a jeans company and CDPlus. My bank account is at the point where anyjob will do. I'm hoping for the job at the jeans company, they were looking for a graphics assistant. Which reminds me I need to send them a follow up email. The CDPlus job was doing data entry and operating their help desk. I'm sure i could figure it out if I had to.I've got friends here
I got a call from the Employee of the Month on Wednesday informing me that he and his 3 friends were in the big city. I went over to their big house by the U of W and hung out for a while. It was good to see those guys again, things were starting to get lonely in the big city. Tonight we're supposed to be getting together for a classy King Can/OE affair. Good times should be had by all. The rest of the weekend will be spent thinking of clever ways to get a job and (hopefully) executing those ideas.My Neighbourhood Has Gone Bad
Did I spell Neighbourhood right?I was at U of M today and I happened to bump into Lauren. It turns out she lives about 2 blocks from my house. She told me of her and Marty's plans to travel to Regina to meet with a student council member. This sparked the idea in my head, "Why don't I do that?". It has been officially added to my to dolist. I will hopefully go forth on a trade mission to Regina before Perennial Gift Day. When I do go I will be looking for delegates to help me consume a large amount of beer.
