I'm finally finished my 9 consecutive midnight shifts at the Esso, so I think that I will try to take things in a new direction. Porn.There was an ad in the Free Press on Saturday for a web deveopler to build an adult paysite. When I remembered that I am a web developer, I thought I better apply. So I put together the most porn friendly resume I could and dropped it in the mail.
In the Meantime I'll go Classic
My friend Jarod has hooked me up with a pretty sweet gig at Little River Rockfest. I'm doing the Monitor mixes on the B stage. It's a Wednesday to Monday gig and the pay sounds pretty good to me. I'm a little concerned, as I haven't done much live sound, but the guy I'm working with seems cool and knows that I'm not that expierienced. He told me not to worry becasue it is "basically a shitty outdoor tribute bar". The job was originally Jarod's, but he got offered a prime job in Regina at their Ex, so he graciously gave this one to me. The guys is basically my employment agency, as the Esso job was his too.So, there won't be any updates from me for a while but I will hopefully return with some good Classic Rock stories. I told Jason (of Manlab) that I would be at his birthday celebration on the 15th, so camping on the 16th sounds like a good plan to me.
