So this is what 7 AM looks like
I just finished my first 11pm-7am shift at Esso. I think it will be an ok time. For those of you who don't know, I'm filling for my friend Jarod while he takes time off to do some live sound at a couple of events.I was trained by a guy named Sheldon. He's a U of M track athelete who made me listen to Meat Loaf while he told lame stories about his track friends. He swears that he LOVES Warrant. (ouch!) He tried his darndest to impress me by naming all the songs in the 45 minute rock block on 92 CITI but just couldn't win me over. I'm hard to impress around 6 AM.
The kid is a dumbass, but I only have to work with him a couple more times and I'll be on my own. The job itself seems alright, let people pay, keep the place clean, and read or do whatever keeps you sane.
The best part of the job is definatly the patrons. I saw porn creeps, G's and stoned kids, but most importantly I saw some hot girls. The gas station is right besides Earl's on Pembina so it was inevitable that a few would wander in. The best part was when these 3 guys in a beat up Pontiac tried to pick up this girl who may or may not have been a Playboy model.
I apologize is this makes no real sense, I haven't slept and I didn't proof read this at all.
