i love getting mail:
    i love...
        ...the anticipation of looking
            in the tiny metallic box,
        ...reaching in and pulling
            out a handful of envelopes,
        ...sorting my mail as i ride the elevator
            back up to my apartment.
        ...looking at the address labels
            and seeing my name neatly printed.

i know i exist because i get mail.
