| The weeks following, Richard took me to several car shows and cruise nights. All the while I was known as "Chucks old car." One night while Richard was leaving the "Orange county cruise", some one yelled out "STOP HIM! He's stealing Chucks car!" Well Richard got tired of this and said to me "Sweetheart, your in for a change." |
The work began. Richard proceeded to strip out my shaby interior, remove all my chrome, took out my glass then contacted Mike Doyle for a complete make over.This was very exciting because I didn't know what I was in for. They discovered I had cancer, but the good news was it wasn't terminal and came away with a clean bill of health. |
| Mike really did a job on me, my headlights were frenched, my hood was filled with a nice peak running down the center, and the corners were rounded. My grill opening was molded in, scoops cut in my rear fenders, my skirts were lowered 3" to meet the body line. In the back, my trunk was filled, my tail light frenched and tunnelled, and the trunk was shaved. more... |
