Hi, my name is Des and this is a little write up about my Ford Consul hi line.
When I purchased the car a few years ago it was black. With respect I've always thought black to be more suited to hearses and Morris Minors than the fifties transatlantic style of the Consul, so a few monthes after purchase I had the roof, visor and lower sides sprayed cream.(see above)
This was an improvement but not enough so later the remaining black was sprayed peach.
With its whitewall tyres and portholes, the addition of fender skirts and a continental kit will complete the transformation from a large British family car to a suido fifties American cruiser.
