| 07.24.2005 - after some very hard work, the 5th Freedom album is finally complete! We've mailed it off to be pressed so keep checking back for your chance to pick up the fruits of our blood, sweat, and other bodily fluids. The album features over an hour of original music and we promise it'll be worth your time and money to check out. Also I'll be adding a lyrics section to the page so you should memorize all our songs as soon as possible. 07.04.2005 - hey all, we're still working on the CD but are hoping to finish it rather soon...as it stands our release date is August 13th (gasp! that's paul's b-day too!) For now, please please please come out and check out the event on July 16th at coffee talk (see above flyer). peace! 06.11.2005 - congrats to Piss Poor Excuse for the success of their CD release! 5th Freedom is going on a 3 week hiatus while our bass player, Harold the Merciless, returns to his home country, the UK. During this time, we'll be working on the new album. DON'T MISS THE 5TH FREEDOM CD FUNDRAISER / SUSPECTED COLLECTIVE CD RELEASE SHOW - JULY 16 at Coffee Talk. Keep checking back for more news. 06.09.2005 - goddam, we've been busy. This week we're right in the middle of a a whole bunch of shows, which you personally should go to. Don't forget the Piss CD release on Friday...I already own the album and it kicks fuckin' ass...so come pick up your copy. Also, after two days of sweat and labor the 5th Freedom album is on its way. We've laid down drum, bass, and rhythm tracks...stay posted for other album news. 05.22.2005 - hello, all. We have some new shows in scheduled including the PISS POOR EXCUSE CD RELEASE, which you should definately be excited about. Its June 10 at Coffee Talk, so bring a friend or two. Or just sit around and watch tv, whatever. In other news, we will BEGIN RECORDING A FULL LENGTH ALBUM shortly after June 4. Stay tuned, bitches. 05.01.2005 - Yo! The TSC Fundraiser was good fun and now those funky motherfuckers have enough money to finish their album, thanks to such loyal fans. 5th Freedom is continuing to work towards the release of a full length album...keep your ears open for news, shows, & other developments. 04.14.2005 - pics from the April 2nd show are posted in the picture section, so check 'em out! Also...remember to come to the Suspected Collective CD Fundraiser on April 29 (see shows section) featuring TSC, PPE, Radio Sushi, and some other band I forgot about. 04.03.2005 - the AIDS fundraiser brought in over $1000 for the cause so much thanks to everyone who came, especially those who stayed to the end to watch us. It was a lot of fun despite our lack of practice...Piss Poor Excuse and TSC played tight sets and made it damn hard to follow them. I'll post pics soon. Next time we play we'll have a bunch of new material for you so check back to see when that is. In the meantime, remember to always wrap your tool. Played a bit sloppy, but t'was fun despite. In other news, we're continuing to write new stuff so keep listening for the new songs as we finish them. I'll post new shows as soon as I get more info...although I hear we'll be playing at 'project grad' in the distant future. 02.15.2005 - good evening, kiddies! NEW SHOWS are coming! Check back as I post more details, but it looks like we have a show at Coffee Talk on Friday, February 25th and a fundraiser sort of thang sometime later. All you cool cats better come and support - we'll probably be playing some new stuff. Keep ya ears open. 02.07.2005 - i've been on the mainland for college auditions so this the first update in awhile. we're currently working on some new material...no shows that i know of yet, but keep checking back. cheers. 01.17.2005 - ...and so the battle between the ultra-sexy 5th Freedom fighters and the villianous members of the HPD continues! Zach had another gig in town, so we didn't get to the party until 10:30, meaning we had just enough time to set up and play two songs before we had to stop or Tate's mom would get arrested. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Check back for upcoming shows. 01.15.2005 - so one night, the quartet of sex gods/rock stars (Zach, Jesse, Harry, and me) got called up to play at a little shindig in Kahala. Well, they cruised on over and spent an hour setting up equipment just in time for....the police to come! Lame! So then they spent an hour packing up all the equipment and bitching about it! Much thanks, brave men of the HPD! In the end, a trip to Zippy's was made and good times were had, so it wasn't a total loss. Stay tuned for the next episode of 5th Freedom, which, come to think of it, is on Sunday night in Kailua. 01.10.2005 - there's some updates around the site for those of you who are observant. Firstly, you can find pics and info on our past shows by clicking the links in the picture section or in the shows section. Each show will have it's own page now. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Jan. 8th show and donated to the South Asia Relief Fund...we didn't play that hot due to technical difficulties but it still was fun.
