Casting and Closing the Circle (chanting words by Silver RavenWolf)

The Thirteen Goals of a Witch
In rituals, you need a circle. Here's how to cast the circle:
Walk around in a circle once or three times reciting the following words. As you walk round deosil (clockwise), imagine you are creating a bubble of energy or a green coloured light boundary. Say:
'I conjure thee, O circle of Power,
so that you will be for me a boundary
between the world of humans and the realms of mighty Spirits
a meeting place of perfect love, trust, peace and joy.
I call upon the elements of the East, the South, the West, and the North to aid me in this consecration and to help me raise and contain the power herein.
In the name of the Lord and Lady
Thus do I conjure thee,
O great circle of Power!'
Near the end of your ritual, you need to close the circle. Starting at West, walk round the circle once and widdershins (anti-clockwise). When you've come back to West, pound the ground with your hand and say:
'The circle is open but never broken,
Merry meet and merry part, until we merry meet again,
So mote it be!'
