| 5/12/03- I have recently been working on writing a song that God has laid a heavy burden on my heart for, and I know that it is going to help people through some extremely rough times in their lives or possibly even lead them to Christ! As I have always said, I have no idea of whom I may have an impact on and how much I may have helped them out through my music, but I think that it is better that way! Don't get me wrong, I greatly appreciate all the acknowledgements that I have recieved; I just don't want people to feel obligated to tell me, because I am just the messenger and nothing more! But back to the song! The name of it is going to be "A Letter To God" and it is a very controversial song, to say the least! And I would greatly appreciate your prayers on this one, because I know that I am going to catch a lot of flack from the "christian community" because of the subject matter(those of you who know me, you can imagine what it will deal with given the things that have occurred in my life).
