Welcome to Fieldsong

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy our little place on the web.

How Fieldsong Came To Be

Quite unexpectedly actually. After doing a lot of research my husband and I decided the beagle would be perfect for our family. We were fortunate to find a local breeder who had a litter just two weeks old. Because this litter was from show lines he asked if I was interested in showing. After much discussion as to what was expected, and if he was willing to help me, I agreed to show the dog.

Our first show dog, Macey, joined our family and I was introduced to the world of showing dogs.

Creation

When God had made the earth and sky
The flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals
And all the birds and bees.

And when he was finished,
No one was quite the same,
He said "I'll walk this earth of mine
And give each one a name".

And so he traveled land and sea
And everywhere he went
A little creature followed him,
Until it's strength was spent.

When all were named upon the earth
And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said "Dear Lord,
There's not one left for me!"

The Father smiled and softly said
"I've left you till the end.
I've turned my own name back to front
And called you 'Dog' my friend".

I will also be adding links to other sites with information that I feel, IMHO, might be useful.
