| Meetings are usually held in the Gould Wing (Building 116) of Botany and Zoology (BOZO), Australian National University on the first Thursday of each month (except January) at 8pm. Check out the latest newsletter for details of the next meeting! Meetings start with a show and tell session. This allows an opportunity to show that insect or nest, share an observation or to put a question to the group. Speakers are of a very high standard with many acclaimed scientists speaking to us plus others who are well known specialists in their field. The topics cover anything in our natural environment. For example, birds, mammals, volcanoes, astronomy, ocean currents, plants, greenhouse warming, fossils, fungi, geology, ecosystems, impacts of fire and restoration. Meetings are followed by refreshments. |
